14'S BLACK- ANGELA DAVIS
After six action filled junior volleyball years playing for Portland Volleyball Club and the Centennial Eagles, I received a full-ride scholarship to play volleyball for Boise State University. After returning home, I quickly returned to the gym as a coach for the Eagles and began coaching for Mt. Hood Volleyball Club in the off-season. After 4 years of coaching on the staff at Centennial, I moved out to Corbett where I have been coaching for twelve years. I just completed my third season as head coach of the Cardinals, with a third place finish and a 29-1 season. This will be my 16th season coaching for Mt. Hood Volleyball club, where I have experience coaching all age groups and ability levels. I live in Corbett with my husband and four kids and am currently finishing my degree in education. I am thankful to be surrounded by such an outstanding coaching staff, involved group of parents, and hardworking student-athletes with whom I have the distinct pleasure of coaching. Go Mt. Hood!

14'S RED- BRINDA SUNDBERG
Pass, Set and Hit are a few of my favorite words. And don't forget Ace!! I started playing volleyball in the sixth grade and fell in love with the sport. I liked that you had to master specific skills individually and then put those skills together as a team to make plays. I played my high school years at Barlow. After high school I went on to play at Mt. Hood Community College on a two year scholarship as a defensive specialist and was named scholastic Athlete of the year. The game of volleyball still burns strong in me, I continue to play on a women's team to this day. I love to spend quality time with my husband, daughter and son. We actively camp, quad ride and love boating during the summer months. I also work part-time at Cascade Athletic Club as a personal trainer and group fitness ride/spin instructor. I have completed many sprint triathlons and one half ironman.

16'S BLACK- AMY JONES
I have been married for 19 years to my high school sweetheart. We have 2 daughters; Cassidy (15) who is a wonderful caregiver/babysitter and is also our swim team participant. And Kadyn (14) who keeps us busy playing volleyball, basketball, and joining the occasional softball team. Both girls attend Corbett Charter MS/HS. My three favorite things are hiking, my vacation week in Sun River, and playing on my grass women's volleyball team. I played volleyball for Madison HS, on PVC's 18's Black team, at MHCC on 2 year full ride, and then 3 years at the University of Portland (1 red shirt year, 2 scholarship). I was the JV and Varsity Assistant Coach at Corbett for 3 years and recently transitioned to coaching the JV at Reynolds HS. I have been coaching various 12's, 14's, and 16's at MHVBC for 5 seasons now. |
